Who is the Sports Tsar?

Well, my name is George Dontsov. I’m a 23-year old soon-to-be college graduate suffering from senioritis and thus I have WAY too much time on my hands.

This abundance of time has led to a last ditch effort to live the dream of sports writing. It’s almost time to enter the workforce full-time, so it would be nice to potentially do something I enjoy for a living. Or at least some sort of noteworthy supplemental income. If need be, sportswriting job offers are welcome - I have no qualms with working for the man. As long as I can still keep this blog and bitch about it in the meantime.

Formal writing experience? Well, I did cover Cal State Northridge women’s volleyball for roughly two weeks at one point. I also yell back at the TV whenever Stephen A. Smith appears to voice my frustration.

This blog was finally created after months, if not years of desire. I finally came up with a decent enough gimmick/identity (I’m Russian so it works) to throw online. Jim Rome (ironically another Calabasas High School graduate) has The Clones in The Jungle. I am the Sports Tsar and I have my Subjects of my Tsarist Empire. It works, dammit!
