Also, the Celts did not extend a Qualifying Offer to Leon Powe, who's rehabbing a ripped ACL, and they're afraid they might lose Big Baby Davis to a team that throws crazy money his direction. Sheed is insurance, and could potentially slot into the first big off the bench role. His shot selection, poor defense, age, injury history and insanely bloated contract (17 mil, I think) make me question whether he'll be what they're hoping for. Considering they'll end up spending twice on VC what they could've retained Hedo for, that's a pretty big gamble. He's also Tracy McGrady's cousin. Just saying.
