If you haven’t noticed, NBA Jam has been a recurring theme on this blog.
The Jam makes a cameo once more. As I was rummaging through old photos on this computer getting ready to back everything up onto a shiny new external HD, I happened upon the following picture:
I most likely whipped out the old Super Nintendo a few years back to play through Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and popped in Jam to take a break from warping between the Light and Dark Worlds.
I mean I figured I was always fairly good at video games – what self-respecting little nerdy kid wasn’t? I didn’t know I was 121-0 good though. I tried playing another game but it was pure chaos. Bill Clinton and Adrock just kept making it rain and running me out of the gym, so I figured it best to save my undefeated integrity and hang up my glowing NBA Jam sneakers.
This seemed especially worth posting given the current happenings over at Ball Don’t Lie.
I’m sure there were even bigger and better winning streaks out there than mine. What you guys got? And don’t come at me with “yea dog i was 547-0 n shit dog” – you’re an idiot. Also, photographic proof or it never happened. Obviously.
I hope whoever bought this cartridge off me on eBay last month hasn’t sullied my glistening record.
