In case you’re a baseball fan that hasn’t been following Spring Training, or you never check YouTube, or you’ve just had your head up your ass for the past week or so, consider the following a public service:

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw has arrived. He brings with him Public Enemy #1. He likes to go from 12 to 6.

Wow.

I first wanted to post this video a few days ago when I noticed the insane amount of views it had already gotten. At that point, it was already #1 on YouTube with almost 500,000 views. Now, a few days later, it has passed 700,000. The commenters are up in arms as well, posting over 500 replies thus far. Jesus H!

It has officially become the stuff of legend. It has even made Vin Scully giddy. Hopefully it hasn’t set too high of expectations on the youngster though. Kershaw is about to celebrate just his 20th birthday in a week. He is already one of the top ranked pitching prospects in all of baseball, and his wicked fastballs and Public Enemy #1 have definitely showed us why.
